Help us to use Advent to see where God’s light and love is needed to resource our Vision plans.
Wed 2   John 5:1-13 Moseley Hall and all Hospitals and Hospices
Pray for those who seek healing in our Benefice and all those who involved who work with the sick.
Thu 3 St Francis Xavier missionary 1 Timothy 6:6-11 All those who are unemployed or made redundant
Pray for integrity and responsibility amongst our world financial institutions.
Fri 4 St John of Damascus Psalm 33:1-5 Music and all musicians in the Benefice
Remember those who are helping to prepare music for our Christmas services and events.
Sat 5   Matthew 25:31-40 Those waiting for liberation
Pray for all who are imprisoned unfairly and seeking Advent justice.

Pray for support for SUSMO and our responsibility to change our way to life for our planet’s future.

Help us to be born again and renewed with God’s spirit during Advent.
Wed 9   Isaiah 46:3-4 Elderly people in nursing and rest homes
Remember those who are often forgotten by society, as well as people coming to the end of their lives.

Pray for members of our congregations who may be ill at this time and feel spiritual isolation or darkness.
Fri 11   Matthew 18:1-4 Quiet unrecognised service
Thank God for all those who give time and service which enables ministry and mission to take place.
Sat 12   Psalm 5:11-12 Newly baptised and confirmed people
Pray for the recently confirmed and help us all to continue to grow in faith on our spiritual journey.

Think of those trying to bring in places of conflict and pray for the hope of peace that Christ can bring.
Wed 16   Psalm 102:1-17 The poor and destitute
Remember those who have nothing to look forward to this Christmas. Help us to bring relief from suffering.

Give thanks for the work of the National Institute of Conductive Education who we are supporting tonight.
Fri 18   Ruth 1 Immigrants, refugees and those who have to move
As the Holy Family had to flee Bethlehem, pray for those who have to leave their homes because of threat, safety or disaster especially those in Cumbria.
Sat 19   Luke 8:4-15 Christmas Rush
Pray for all those who feel stressed in preparing for Christmas that all may remember what it’s for!

All those preparing to travel. For the people of Lockerbie remembering victims today 21 years on.
Tue 22   Luke 2:7 Finding a place for Christ in our hearts and homes
With 3 days to go, what space will you be making to place Christ in your celebrations this Friday?
Wed 23   Luke 2:8-12 Bringing hope to those in need
Remember and pray all those who will find Christmas difficult especially the dying, bereaved, lonely or sick.
Thu 24   Luke 2:13-14 Seeing and celebrating God’s glory
As thousands come to worship God in Moseley, help all to find something of God’s love and Good News.
Fri 25   Luke 2:15-20 Give thanks for gifts and Good News
Thank God for giving us Jesus Christ and the tokens we receive to symbolise that. May we share the Good News of Christ to those we celebrate with today.
