Christian Aid

Despite the organisational challenge posed by the demise of my computer and the subsequent loss of all Christian Aid contacts and information, last year’s Christian Aid house to house collections did go ahead as usual. Much credit for this goes to Cathie and Peter, whose Christian Aid family service really brought the charity alive for the congregation, and to Jeremy, whose sterling speech on Christian Aid Sunday roused a flurry of last minute volunteers. Many thanks to all the collectors who tramped the streets of Moseley, and to those who donated personally via the pew collections, raising a total of £2,595.83.

Many thanks and congratulations are due to all of those who support this life affirming cause, and whose efforts actually make a tangible difference to the lives of others in real need. Toni Wright — Feb 2009
