Last year’s Christian Aid house to house collections raised £1165.68 and many, many thanks go to all the collectors who give up their shrinking amounts of free time to knock on the doors of Moseley for this life affirming cause. Especial thanks go to Eric Dwyer, whose retirement collection donation made a significant addition of £270. The total raised after all donations was £1696.98 Soon preparations for Christian Aid Week 2010 will begin. Much appreciation and congratulations are due to all those at St Anne’s and St Mary’s who support Christian Aid’s good work in an ever more challenging financial climate, showing their faith in a very practical way to make a positive difference to the lives of others in real need.
