Message from our new placement student, Claire

Hello there. My name is Claire Maxim, and I am very grateful to Jeremy and the PCC for allowing me to do a student placement with you here in Moseley for the next few months. I am in my second year of three at the Queen’s Foundation in Harborne, studying to become a priest. I’m married to Andy, and we have two children — James is in Year 8 at secondary school, Margaret is in Year 5 at primary school, and we live in Balsall Common. I work full time for EON UK, in the Trading Arrangements group, and Andy works for a small company, designing computer storage systems. I enjoy detective stories and romantic comedies, although you’ll appreciate I don’t get much time for either! I was brought up as a Christian in a rural part of South Warwickshire, and where I live now is also rural, so I’m looking forward to being part of life in a more urban area, and to working with you all. Please pray for me as I prepare to join you, and pray with me that together we can do God’s work.

We look forward to welcoming Claire to St Mary’s and St Anne’s in October.
