It is with much emotion that I write to you. We have had quite a journey together since I joined in 2005. It has been a busy but blessed time. And ultimately I want to thank you all for your kind support and prayers during my time here.
Over the past four years there have been many changes both personally as well as in our churches, and no doubt there are many more coming in the future. Anupama and I have experienced the joys of parenthood with the birth of Nathanael, and it is wonderful that so many of you were able to share in our family blessings over this time. There have also been many other changes especially in Church as we learn where God’s Holy Spirit is leading us for our futures.
In fact, how we react to change is critical for us as Christians and God calls us to apply ourselves to new situations with fortitude, faithfulness and prayer. When life brings us to places where we did not expect, it is usually time to pause and to ask God the way forward. For let us have no doubt that God has promised us all a glorious future if only we ask him. May God bless you all in your futures, which will surprise and fill you all with the Love of God. Amen.
Almighty God, you have broken the tyranny of sin and have sent the Spirit of your Son into our heart whereby we call you Father: give us grace to dedicate our freedom to your service, that we and all creation may be brought to the glorious liberty of the children of God; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
