St Mary’s has a loop system for the hard of hearing, in the centre block of seats. Turn your hearing aid to the ‘T’ setting.

For Children and Young People

St Mary’s Children’s Groups

Children meet on the second, third and fourth Sundays. They continue worship in their groups and meet their leaders at the back of the church after the collect for the day. All children are welcome.

St Anne’s Children’s Groups

Children meet on the first, third and fourth Sundays. They leave with their leaders after the first hymn. All children are welcome.

St Mary’s and St Anne’s Youth Group

The Youth Group meets on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. at St Mary’s. All young people are welcome.

St Mary’s Clock and St Anne’s Bells

Work on the clock is continuing . The bells are being installed in the next few days. Listen out for the striking and ringing soon.

Stewardship at St Mary’s

Following Stewardship Sunday at St Mary’s on 13 April, it has been suggested that some people may like to take home a batch of Gift Aid envelopes in order to prepare them in advance and bring back to church with their offering. This can be arranged if you speak to one of the Stewardship Committee: Adam Maclean, Chair (449 3033), Rosemary Berridge (449 2262), Ann Andrew (449 9682), Rob Brown, Free Will Offering Treasurer (605 8433).

Thu-15-May 7:30 p.m. At St Anne’s. Vision 2010. Debate on Worship and Communication. Every member of the congregations of both churches is invited to come along to debate these two areas of mission contained in the document Our First Year Together given out at the Annual Parochial Church Meetings, and Why?, What?, How? and When? we will carry out our plans for each area of Mission.
Sat-17-May Departing at 8:00 a.m. Pilgrimage to Liverpool, Euro Capital of Culture 2008. There are a couple of spaces still available for the Benefice Pilgrimage to Liverpool’s Anglican and Roman Catholic Cathedrals. The visit also includes opportunities to visit Art in the Age of Steam (International Impressionist Exhibition) and other newly restored sights, galleries and museums.
